For years, Cara Delevingne was the darling of the fashion world, achieving the kind of supermodel stardom that most can only dream of.
Her unique, striking looks left brands and magazines across the globe clamoring to cast her in their campaigns and runway shows and saw the lithe young model strutting her stuff and posing up a storm for everyone from Chanel to Dior to Vogue.
But in the past few months, the model’s once-alluring image has transformed thanks to a series of increasingly-erratic outings, from wild dancing at a champagne-fueled party in New York City to a bizarre red carpet prank to a troubling visit to a California sex shop.
Cara continues sparking concern among her fans. The 30-year-old model and actress has been spotted acting erratically while out and about in West Hollywood for sex toys shopping.
In photos obtained by Daily Mail, the “Only Murders in the Building” actress was spotted looking worse for wear as she’s seen sitting in her car taking drops of an unknown liquid and smoking in the driver’s seat on Wednesday afternoon, August 31.
At one point, she could be seen changing her clothes inside her Audi before stopping at a sex shop and browsing racks of dildos and vibrators for about 30 minutes on Melrose Ave.
Several pictures saw Cara with a long round object, resembling a pipe, in her mouth, rubbing her face, and blowing her nose multiple times. The British-born beauty appeared as though she hadn’t slept as she sat behind the wheel of her car. She was solo for her outing.
Later on that day, Cara changed her outfit into shorts that showcased her bruised legs, a purple Jimi Hendrix T-shirt, and sneakers as she went makeup free. She’s also seen speaking on the phone and throwing on sunglasses and a bucket hat when visiting a different store, hiding the deep rings under her eyes.
A friend who saw Cara Delevingne in Ibiza told Daily Mail:
“She was more messy out there than she had been in a while but says she is OK, fine about turning 30 and having a great time. She will think that the pictures are funny — she doesn’t think there’s anything wrong with the way she is living her life and says she is absolutely fine.”
Cara does have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), which may account for the apparently jittery behavior, but there are fears that she is heading for a fall.
Nobody needs reminding that her mother Pandora struggled with addiction when Cara was a girl.
At times Pandora, the daughter of Sir Jocelyn Stevens, the publishing magnate, and Jane Sheffield, Princess Margaret’s lady-in-waiting, even moved out of the family home to try to shield the children from the trauma.
Pandora said recently: “You’re an addictive person or you’re not. I am. I’m paranoid the girls might drink too much or take too many drugs — understandably, I think. I do talk to them about it. They say, ‘I’m OK, Mum’ or, ‘I’m this or I’m that’, but they’re not addicts.”
