What Stacey Abrams Just Said About Fetal Heartbeats Will Make You See Red…

Uncategorized

Well, it has been long known that Stacey Abrams is an abortion extremist.

A recently surfaced clip of far-left Georgia gubernatorial candidate, Stacey Abrams, showed just how much of an abortion lover she is. Abrams claimed that fetal heartbeats are “manufactured” and made other completely false claims in order to push the abortion narrative.

“There is no such thing as a heartbeat at six weeks. It is a manufactured sound designed to convince people that men have the right to take control of a woman’s body.”

Scientifically, she’s just wrong. Fetal heartbeats absolutely exist at six weeks and can be observed. In fact, it’s very normal to get an ultrasound around that point and the first thing they do is find the heartbeat.

I am begging liberals to get a better argument for abortion than “kill the kids to help the economy.” That’s the stuff of genocidal regimes, and it has no place in our political discourse. It’s grotesque, selfish, and cowardly. Sane people don’t stump for ending the lives of babies because their births might be a drag on the economy. Besides, that’s not even true, as low birth rates are what ultimately destroy nations, rather than save them.

But Abrams is all aboard the crazy train even as she tries to win a purple state like Georgia. Why? I think the answer is simple: She knows she’s going to lose.

This outrageous claim by Abrams has caused medical professionals – who actually care about stopping the dangerous spread of misinformation – to speak out on social media, hurrying to shut down Abrams’ theory.

Radiologist Pradheep J. Shanker quickly responded to the video, correcting Abrams’ wildly inaccurate claims and presenting the medically-based facts that contradict Abrams’ statements.

“Dr. Stacey Abrams, MD has thoughts, people. @staceyabrams… if you wish to be educated, I’d be more than happy to show you the actual heartbeat of a six week old fetus. It’s not an imaginary thing, no matter how much you want it to be.”

“And look how Democrats are perfectly happy with @staceyabrams spreading scientific misinformation to young people (who are nodding along, even though they are being told a lie),” added Shanker. “Apparently misinformation only matters when it is inconvenient?”

Shanker then posted medical academic materials, along with ultrasound footage, proving that actual medical facts do not align with these politically-motivated claims.

Democrats have been focusing on the topic of abortion under the belief that it will help their electoral prospects in November. In June, the Supreme Court issued its Dobbs ruling, which overturned the controversial Roe v. Wade decision which forbade nearly all restrictions on ending unborn human life.

But polling shows the vast majority of Americans support at least some protections for unborn children, particularly later in pregnancy. Democrats, including Abrams, oppose any and all restrictions on abortion.

In addition to denying the reality of heartbeats in unborn children, Abrams is also known for denying the reality of the election she lost when she previously ran for governor of Georgia in 2018.

Abrams is currently polling 6.6 points behind incumbent Kemp. It is unclear whether she will deny the reality of a second loss to the governor should she lose in November.
