Addison Rae’s recent Instagram bikini post is at the center of some controversy. After receiving criticism from fans for her “blasphemous” bikini picture on Instagram, TIKTOK star Addison Rae deleted the post.
On Tuesday, the 21-year-old TikTok sensation posted a photo of herself wearing a barely-there $100 “Holy Trinity” bikini with the words “Father,” “Son,” and “Holy Spirit” emblazoned on the top and bottom, respectively. The skimpy two-piece, which appears to be a collaboration with Adidas, is from the site Prayying.com.
While some netizens, including Rae’s “famous friends,” praised her look, there seemed to be no shortage of those who disapproved of the stunt.
The American social media influencer has come under fire from a number of social media users who did not seem impressed by her “Bikini,” labeling the garment as “disrespectful” and “messed up.”
“Nah this is disrespectful to Jesus. Sad what y’all do for money,” one person wrote. “This is not okay! BLASPHEMY!” added another.
“Is nobody gonna talk about this disrespecting religions,” a third wrote, while a fourth deemed the bikini “so messed up.”
Meanwhile, on Twitter, fans echoed similar sentiments. “I wonder what christians think about addison rae’s post. the underwear says ‘holy spirit.’ is this not blasphemy?” one person questioned, to which several users agreed.

Although she quickly removed the image from her Instagram page, Addison remained silent about the criticism.
With her Tiktok followers, Addison frequently posts swimsuit photos. In her most recent one, she poses in an orange Emily Ratajkowski Inamorata bikini.
The post’s caption read, “Sugar, spice, and everything lovely.”
