A pair of Instagram videos she released, shows her being combative with flight attendants and fellow passengers, Sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson has been kicked off an American Airlines flight Saturday.
Richardson was seen in the video reprimanding a flight attendant who had leaned towards the camera as an announcement was being made to put away devices, in one video she posted in which she said she was going on vacation.
“I’m recording me, but you jumped in my video, so I caught you because you jumped in my video,” she said, “You’re harassing me at this point, so I think you should stop. I think you should stop.”
She then cursed at a fellow passenger who had the temerity to say something with which she disagreed while insisting that she was the victim of ill-treatment and had done nothing wrong. She wrote on Instagram with a video of her filming herself complaining in various ways about how she was treated.
“Tell me if I’ll be wrong to pursue legal actions against the airline @americanair not only did the man threaten me but also an innocent bystander who simply just wanted a picture with me,” Richardson said.
She posted, “In the beginning of the video you can hear a Caucasian male state that he doesn’t give a f as a man that male flight attendant is intimidating a woman,”
“Also the captain not doing anything to help the situation and this flight attendant has the applause when I exited the plane when I’m pretty serious the disrespect I received would not have happened if I was a one of them.
“One of them even stated good luck with your ban ( I see he took the time to do some research but not stand up for what’s right) soooo @americanair this flight attendant name was John and he refused to state his last name,” she continued. “However him and the lady y’all see standing next to him looked me up also if I see videos posted from this flight, watch.”

Richardson argued that the flight attendant from the first incident should be disciplined in the video that accompanied that post. However, one passenger, claiming that the incident was causing a delay and would make him miss a connecting flight, voiced his displeasure as she was speaking.
Richardson said, “Oh, so you’re worried about a connection when a grown man is disrespecting me?”
In response, the passenger said, “I don’t give a s***.”
She did nothing wrong, Richardson insisted repeatedly. She eventually learned that the captain wanted her to leave the aircraft. She protested being removed from the aircraft, saying she had been treated unfairly. She maintained that the flight attendant spoiled her movie and should be punished because it was captured on camera. Passengers cheered as she stood up to leave.
According to NBC, a spokesman for American Airlines said, “We reaccomodated the customer on a later flight and a member of our team has reached out to learn more.”
