It seems that U.S. is not alone with this power tripping from its Citizens, another world power just prove we are slowy losing our constitutional rights.
Let me give you a few history lesson, way back in 1919, Congress ratified the 18th Amendment to ban the manufacture, sale, and transport of alcoholic beverages. The amendment was destined for disaster and repealed in 1933.
For god sake we are now living in the 21st century, and they want us to live in the past and use COVID as an excuse.
This is not happening in United States alone. With the increasingly idiotic restrictions on unvaccinated individuals, could we witness a global prohibition policy?
It may sounds totally insanse but one is already proposing this measure.
In the Sverdlovsk region in Russia, officials have contemplated banning the sale of alcohol to unvaccinated individuals.

Authorities in the Sverdlovsk region in Russia are considering barring selling alcohol to those who haven’t had a vaccine

The policy was proposed by local restauranteur Yevgeny Uryupin.
I guess Uryupin’s business doesn’t partake in the sale of alcohol to its customers.
Excerpt from Daily Mail reports:
A taskforce set up to stop the spread of coronavirus in the Sverdlovsk region is considering barring the sale of alcohol to people who don’t have a QR code showing they’ve been vaccinated.
In a new move from local authorities, drinkers from the nation typically known to enjoy a tipple may have to prove they’ve had a shot of the vaccine before getting a shot of vodka.
Artyom Bakhterev, the regional minister of the agro-industrial complex, announced the update through its Telegram channels.
He said: ‘We know about the initiative of market participants to enter QR codes for buying alcohol.
‘We are ready to discuss this measure with colleagues and experts at the next meeting of the operational headquarters.’
It was originally proposed by restaurateur Yevgeny Uryupin from Yekaterinburg, a city in the oblast, on his Instagram, Vesti.ru reported.
He said that the initiative could encourage people to get vaccinated and motivate them to consume less alcohol.
Since October 18 many areas in the country imposed restrictions to deal with a growing coronavirus crisis through a QR code system.
According to Our World in Data, roughly 35% of Russia is fully vaccinated and 41% have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 jab.
Could this prohibition-style ‘shot for a shot’ policy spread to other regions of Russia?
And how long before other countries adopt this idea to kick start a new generation of speakeasies?
