Bottled water isn’t always the healthy choice… Check out these brands that you should be avoiding.

Fluoride has been causing quite the ruckus after studies have shown how bad it is for you. It is used to prevent tooth decay but it can also be found in your water… Even the bottled kind. Over time, fluoride can be very detrimental to your health.

From To The Death Media:

One of the biggest side effects of fluoride exposure is known as fluorosis, which leads to full teeth decay and malformation. Fluorosis typically develops in the first eight years of a child’s life and the symptoms include yellowing of the teeth, decay, cavities and distortion of the tooth’s development.

Taking this a step further, other symptoms such as cognitive and IQ issues can also be the result of exposure to fluoride. Brain disorders and body toxicity are also on the list of scary health side effects that may occur in children.

One study that was conducted in China involved testing children who were exposed to fluoride on a daily basis versus those who were not exposed as much. The end result was that the children who were heavily exposed had lower IQ results compared to the others.

  1. I was unaware of the fluoride problem in bottled water and glad to se th brand I like is not on the list. My preference is AquaFina. I like its taste and it looks like it might be ll right to drink.

  2. Aldi Our aqua. Husband has low thyroid so we purchase this for all his water. I wish they would stop putting g toxic flourish in our drinking water. It is very difficult an expensive to remove.

  3. Question…do you think the bottles are leaching fluoride? i dont trust the plastic I mean come on. If I was them I would sabotage the bottle then I would not have to worry about the product. Rather smart…

  4. First I look for a brand that has been filtered via reverse osmosis, preferable in a non-BPA container. Dasani is one major brand, but there are others. I prefer to filter my own and store it in glass containers. I use a non-BPA bottle for my drinking water at the gym or on the road. If you want to be sure you have pure water, the best way would be to buy distilled water, but be sure to get all you minerals because distilled water will try to leech them out of your system.
