Foreigners are being used by the Biden/Obama gang to determine which persons and groups are granted asylum in the United States.
These things shouldn’t be happening…
Here’s an excerpt from Just The News reports:
Six humanitarian organizations have been asked by the White House to assist with the immigration situation at the US-Mexico border. Except for the International Rescue Committee, the names of the organizations have not been made public.
According to the Associated Press, the others are Save the Children, a London-based charity; HIAS and Kids in Need of Defense, both located in the United States; and Asylum Access and the Institute for Women in Migration, all headquartered in Mexico.
According to reports, the organizations have been requested to assist in determining which individuals and families would be granted refuge. Since May 3, there have been roughly 800 cases admitted.
The criteria have also not been made public, but according to a wire service story, the Biden administration plans to admit up to 250 asylum seekers per day who are referred by the organizations.
According to Raymundo Tamayo, the director of the International Rescue Committee in Mexico, the organization expects to refer up to 600 persons to US officials each month.
He stated that those in “severe life-threatening situations” will receive assistance first and that the organization expects to refer up to 600 people to US officials each month.
According to the Associated Press, the Department of Homeland Security is also assisting in the admissions process and will have the last word.
According to the Associated Press:
Critics of the current selection processes claim that a small number of organizations wield too much power and that the efforts are hidden, with no clear explanation of how the groups were picked. Critics further claim that there is no guarantee that the most disadvantaged or worthy refugees will be selected for refuge.
According to Sibylla Brodzinsky, a spokeswoman for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees office in Mexico, the consortium was founded after the US government requested the names of groups with extensive expertise and capability in Mexico.
Former Obama US Secretary of the Treasury Timothy Geithner, who was a tax cheat was awarded a role by Obama and now sits on the International Rescue Committee’s Board of Directors and Advisors.
