On Monday, a federal judge hinted that he intends to block the Biden regime’s plans in lifting Title 42, a President Trump’s countermeasure to stop the surge of illegal immigrants crossing the US border.
Title 42 was very effective in expelling migrants seeking asylum during the Covid pandemic. Now, Biden plans to lift Title 42 so he can invite more illegal immigrants to our ongoing border crisis.
But not under Judge Robert Summerhays’ watch, a Trump appointee US District Judge for the Western District of Louisiana.
Judge Robert Summerhays announced his plan to grant a request by Republican-led states to preserve for now the border directive, known as Title 42, during a closed status conference Monday, according to a memo filed in the case.
Judge Robert Summerhays granted a temporary restraining order on Monday.
JUST IN: Judge Robert Summerhays says he intends to grant the states’ request for a temporary restraining order blocking the Biden admin’s plans to lift Title 42 next month, following a status conference w/ the parties, per docket entry.

“In a lawsuit originally filed by Missouri, Louisiana, and Arizona, our Office just obtained a temporary restraining order to keep Title 42 in place. This is a huge victory for border security, but the fight continues on.”
