There’s Something About The COWARD Texas Dems Trip That Should Make You Sick!

Uncategorized

Seriously? This is outrageous…

Just to avoid voting on a voter integrity bill, this planeload of Texas “Karens” fled their state – I know by now you’re likely familiar with them.

On that plane, were a smattering of “Kens” on board as well.

They headed to the DC swamp in a private plane, filled with booze and took smiling selfies.

Now, little do they know that in that trip, where some very damning new details are emerging about.

Shockingly, it turns out that the good people of Texas are paying for this little impromptu vacation.

And not only that, but they’re also collecting over 200 dollars PER DAY in taxpayer funds while these bums are living it up in the swamp.

According to Fox News report:

State representatives collect not just a salary for their jobs, but a $221 per diem for days that the legislature is in session. A spokesperson for Gov. Greg Abbott’s office told Fox News that the Democrats who walked out and flew to Washington, D.C., to speak out against the voting bill are still receiving that daily stipend.

A communications and strategy director for the Texas Democratic Caucus, Cara Santuccci had told Fox News On Tuesday, “[Zero] state dollars or taxpayer dollars are going into this work.”

When asked if he or his colleagues would be forfeiting any of their pay since they were not in Texas working on legislation, Caucus chair Rep. Chris Turner justified the payment.

Turner said, “We’re working harder doing what we’re doing right now than we would be if we had stayed in the chamber.”

The “sacrifice” he and his colleagues made, claiming that they had “left behind our families, our livelihoods,” and Texas itself. ” a Democratic state, Rep. James Talarico tweeted on Monday.

Talarico and the other Democrats were called “delusional” by U.S. Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas for thinking that.

It gets even worse if you thought that was bad.

The taxpayers are footing the bill for the “junket” to DC, Governor Abbot confirmed to KHOU.

In an interview, Texas Governor Greg Abbott called the trip a “taxpayer junket.”

Gov. Abbott said, “Your audience is paying for this junket trip that they’re taking to get away from Austin while they’re not doing business. This is costing taxpayer money.”

I’m still not entirely sure how much that plane ride and the booze cost, but it appears that Texas taxpayers are paying for this political stunt…the question now, is how much?
