Pelosi’s Husband Found With Drugs In His System At Scene Of DUI Stop

When Nancy Pelosi’s husband was detained in May on suspicion of DUI, it was claimed that he spoke slurred and had drugs in his system.

This week, just one day prior to Paul Pelosi’s scheduled arraignment hearing on Wednesday, the shocking discovery was made public.

Paul was detained on suspicion of DUI on May 28 in Napa County, California, not long after colliding his 2021 Porsche with a 2014 Jeep at about 10:20 p.m.

At the time, the district attorney’s office said that the blood sample was taken at about 12:32 a.m., or about two hours and fifteen minutes after the crash, which happened at 10:17 p.m. According to details provided by the DA, the accident occurred at the intersection of State Route 29 and Oakville Cross Rd. Paul Pelosi, 82, is accused of crashing his car with a blood alcohol level of 0.082 percent, which is above the legal limit in California.

According to an online table created by Ohio’s Bowling Green State University, people remove around one typical drink, or 0.015 units, of alcohol from their bloodstream per hour. In court documents, the crash scene is about five miles from Pelosi’s home.

Police were alleged to have arrived at the scene at 10:26 p.m. Speaker Pelosi was reportedly not there when the incident occurred; a representative for her claimed she was in Rhode Island addressing college graduates at the time and referred to the event involving her husband as a “personal matter.”

And When Napa County police arrived on the scene, House Speaker Pelosi’s husband’s “speaking was slurred” and he was “unsteady on his feet,” in a recently disclosed complaint and court documents related to the night of Paul’s arrest.

Throughout the field sobriety exam, Paul reportedly displayed “signs of impairment,” and the officers who conducted the test “saw objective indications and symptoms of alcohol intoxication.”

The newly released complaint read that “his eyes appeared red/watery, he was unsteady on his feet, his speech was slurred, and he had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath.”

However, what’s more, stunning is that Paul was also discovered to have Drugs in his system following the collision and subsequent arrest, but Paul’s attorney has now contended that the “drug” in his blood was actually beer.

“I believe that the drug reference is part of the statutory boilerplate language in the complaint,” Amanda Bevins, Paul’s attorney said.

Paul was accused on June 23, nearly a month after the collision, of two criminal misdemeanors: driving while intoxicated causing harm, and driving while intoxicated.08 percent or above causing injury.
