Pure Justice happened on Saturday Morning in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
A 26-year-old Zachary Arnold stood outside the road with his semi-automatic rifle, yelling and demanding that other residents come out of their apartments. an 87-year-old Lois Hicks gave in to his demand. She was forced back by Arnold to her apartment and killed the victim.
It seemed that he had no intentions of stopping there. Neighbors who witnessed the shooting say Arnold was trying to persuade people to come outside of their apartment buildings.
Janey Peugh, a resident of the apartment complex witnessed the whole incident as Arnold was yelling and screaming, “You guys get out here, come out here, everyone gets out of this building right now,”
Another resident, Amber Lane, says Lois Hicks and Arnold live in the same building. She says Hicks and another neighbor went outside to console Arnold, but when they saw the gun, they ran back inside their apartments.
An unnamed resident of the apartment complex fired on and killed Arnold with a hunting rifle.
Considered a hero who may have saved many lives. Considering the police would have arrived later on, but how many people would have come out to be murdered or could have been killed through the wall with Arnold’s shots?
Who knows how many lives that good person with a gun saved? In any case, it is just like the old saying goes. “When seconds count, the police are only minutes away.”
