45-year-old Jennifer Hawkins was a cheerleading coach in Oklahoma until her arrest for having sex with her daughter’s underage boyfriend more than 300 times. The victim, who is now 21 years old, alerted police in January 2023, describing the relationship as “manipulative and controlling.” Hawkins was subsequently fired from her part-time job with the Moore Public School District.
The sexual relationship began in September 2017 when the victim was underage and lasted until 2022. He claims Hawkins forced him into the relationship, and he was subsequently raped multiple times in her home.
In January 2023, the victim wrote a letter to school district officials detailing the allegations against Hawkins from a rehabilitation center in California where he was being treated for the psychological damage he suffered as a result of the relationship.
Initially, Hawkins denied the allegations but eventually admitted to having been in a sexual relationship with the victim while he was underage. When asked how many times she had sex with the victim, Hawkins admitted to having “no clue,” while police estimated the number to be “numerous.”
The victim claims Hawkins would pick him up during lunch and take him back to her house, where they would have sex before she continued with her day. He estimates they had sex over 300 times.
Text messages between the victim and Hawkins suggest the relationship was fraught with control and jealousy. Hawkins would get “angry” if the victim looked at other women on social media, and the victim told her he wanted her in his life, but not in a romantic relationship.
Hawkins was arrested on charges of second-degree rape and sexual battery. The victim is now seeking justice for the manipulation and abuse he endured at the hands of the woman who was supposed to be a trusted adult in his life.
