They don’t give up, do they? It seems that the liberals are doing everything in their power to bring down President-elect Trump.
“Hamilton Electors” is a group that has been formed by Michael Baca, a Democratic elector. The soul purpose for this group is to convince Republican and Democratic Electoral College voters to unify and block Donald Trump from becoming president.
Baca also told the newspaper several Democratic voters and one Republican voter have officially committed to the movement, and the group is in talks with four other Republican voters as well. It will be difficult however. There are laws in 29 states that prohibit electors from voting contrary to how the state’s population votes.
Ultimately, Baca thinks the success of the movement is unlikely, but is pursing it anyway.
