BREAKING: Nikki Haley Resigns As United Nations Ambassador

Nikki Haley is someone that has fought tooth and nail in the United Nations for what is right and good for everyone.

Not just the United States. If you take a look at the stances she has taken on so many issues in her tenure as Ambassador she has tried to do everything in her power to be a bastion of fairness for the entire world.

Her efforts in this regard are to be commended in very possible manner.

According to AP, U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley is set to resign today and will make her announcement in the Oval Office.

Fox News is reporting that Nikki Haley is claiming she wants to “take a break”, and will be leaving by the end of the year.

President Donald Trump tweeted that he has a “big announcement with my friend Ambassador Nikki Haley in the Oval Office at 10:30 a.m.”

Congressional and Trump administration officials told the AP that Haley plans to resign. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they weren’t authorized to speak on the record ahead of Trump’s announcement. They did not provide a reason.

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders tweeted about Haley’s meeting in the Oval Office with President Trump.

Haley was appointed to the U.N. post in November 2016.
