ENRAGED LIBTARDS Claim Trump’s Immigration Ban is “Unprecedented,” Here’s a Much Needed HISTORY LESSON…

History Illegal Immigration Politics

America first! This is President Trump’s aim. Liberals are just uninformed or finding any reason to protest the guy they didn’t vote for.

The immigration ban is far from unprecedented. I bet libs weren’t protesting when a democratic president was the one doing it…

From Conservative Tribune:

While the whining liberal left is busy bashing Trump for his recent orders staying immigration from countries known to export terrorism, we’ll take a pause for a history review. Feel free to share with your less-enlightened friends.

Section 212(f) of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 makes the president’s powers clear:

“Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or non-immigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.”

In 1980, President Jimmy Carter signed an order to “invalidate all visas issued to Iranian citizens for future entry into the United States,” according to The American Presidency Project.

In 1981, President Ronald Reagan barred immigration of “any undocumented aliens arriving at the borders of the United States from the high seas.” In 1986 he signed an order “barring entry for any Cuban nationals or immigrants except in certain cases,” according to the National Archives.

In 1988, he suspended entry for all officers and employees of the Nicaraguan government, a directive which George H.W. Bush overturned in 1990 via the same powers.

President Bill Clinton used his restrictive powers multiple times. In 1994 he barred “the Haitian military, their immediate families, any major participants in the coup d’état of 1991.” In 1998 he signed an order “barring entry for members of the military junta in Sierra Leone, and their families,” according to the U.S. Government Publishing Office.

George W. Bush targeted everyone from corrupt public officials to members of the Mugabe government in Zimbabwe to the Lukashenka government in Belarus, also according to USGPO.

Finally, President Barack Obama used executive power to stop immigration six times, covering everything from cybercrimes and human rights to terrorism.

Please share the truth with a misguided, delusional liberal…
