How Much New York City Spends Per Day On Illegal Aliens Will Make You See Red…

Uncategorized

In a world where cities struggle to balance their budgets, New York City seems to have no problem spending nearly $5 million every day to feed and house illegal immigrants. The staggering amount has raised questions about the sustainability of such spending and how long it can continue.

It is baffling to think that such an amount of money could be spent on people who are not even citizens of the United States, while American citizens are struggling with homelessness and hunger. The New York Post reports that the Department of Homeless Services and Health & Hospitals in the city spend an average of $363 every day to provide food and shelter for just one migrant. Given that there are over 30,000 migrants currently being housed in the city, the daily cost to taxpayers amounts to over $10 million.

City officials have defended their spending by claiming that they are providing for asylum seekers, but the astronomical cost remains unacceptable. It is outrageous that the city can find this kind of money to spend on illegal immigrants when there are homeless people in the city and citizens who go hungry every day.

The crisis is so severe that even New York City officials are struggling to justify the spending. Emergency Management Commissioner Zach Iscol told a City Council panel about the mind-blowing cost of the crisis. However, City Hall waited until Friday night to officially correct Iscol’s comments, revealing that the per diem for asylum seekers is $364 per household. With 12,700 households currently in their care, the daily migrant cost for the city is still a colossal $4,622,800.

This kind of spending is unsustainable and raises serious questions about the priorities of city officials. If New York City can find this kind of money to spend on illegal immigrants, why are there still homeless people on the streets? How is it possible for anyone to go hungry in the city?

It is clear that New York City needs to re-evaluate its priorities and allocate resources where they are needed most. It is unacceptable for the city to spend such an enormous amount of money on illegal immigrants while American citizens are left to fend for themselves. It is no wonder why people are leaving New York City in droves.

This kind of spending is not only unsustainable but also unfair to American citizens who are struggling to make ends meet. The federal government needs to step in and provide the necessary aid to address the illegal immigration crisis. It is time for New York City officials to put the needs of their own citizens first and stop spending millions of dollars every day on illegal immigrants.
