The Las Vegas tragedy had one positive outcome in bringing together all the Americans involved and presenting a platform for heroism.
One former Marine took this platform and showed true bravery in the face of violence and rise above in order to save the lives of those he saw in need of help. Taylor Winston saw an opportunity in the form of a field with parked white trucks and decided to act. Stealing one of these trucks Winston gathered victims and rushed them to a nearby hospital where they received life saving treatment after suffering gun shot wounds from the mad man firing at them from 32 stories above.
As more and more people learn of this amazing man and the heart warming story of his daring rescue, one motor vehicle company has decided to reach out and reward Taylor Winston with a brand new F-150 of his very own.
After a shooter opened fire on a country music festival in Las Vegas, many were quick to rush to the scene to help victims. One man’s story went viral as he stole a truck to rush victims to the hospital. The man’s name is Taylor Winston, and he is a Marine Corps veteran who is being recognized as a hero for saving lives and thinking on his feet as tragedy struck.
Winston explained the situation:
“I saw a field with a bunch of white trucks. I tested my luck to see if any of them had keys in it, first one we tried opening had keys sitting right there. I started looking for people to take to the hospital. There was just too many and it was overwhelming how much blood was everywhere.”
After Winston’s story became known, B5 Motors in Gilbert, Arizona, posted on Facebook asking how to track him down:
At B5Motors we have been overwhelmed with the heartbreaking stories coming out of Vegas. Yesterday, we read of a Vet, Taylor Winston, and the harrowing way he rescued dozens of Vegas victims. According to reports, he stole a truck to quickly transport the injured to the hospital. We would like to find Taylor and thank him for his bravery by providing him a free truck from B5Motors.
This is what a true American who stands to protect his country and its citizens really looks like and as a veteran our respect is what is owed, something the NFL clearly doesn’t understand.
