Doctor Caught On Tape Poisoning Husband With Draino! [VIDEO]

A doctor in California was allegedly caught pouring what appeared to be Drano in her husband’s lemonade in an attempt to kill him.

Neurologist Jack Chen, 53, has accused his dermatologist wife Yue “Emily” Yu, 45, of poisoning him with Drano, a brand of drain cleaner, on three separate occasions in July.

Chen, reportedly told police he began to detect a chemical taste in his lemonade earlier this year. A doctor later diagnosed him with two stomach ulcers, gastritis, and esophagitis — and he soon developed suspicions that his wife of 10 years was behind it all.

To support his hunch, Chen set up a surveillance camera in their family home, which captured video evidence of the dermatologist apparently doing exactly what he feared: spiking his drink with a splash of drain cleaner! He recorded her doing it on three different occasions!

In the court filing, Chen said the alleged poisonings happened July 11, 18, and 25. The videos reportedly captured Yu pouring liquid drain cleaner into Chen’s hot tea or lemonade, court documents stated.

“She takes up the bottle, she pours it in, puts, the cap back on, and puts it back under the sink as though nothing else was happening in her day,” said Dr. Chen’s lawyer, Steven Hittelman.

Police responded to the husband’s call at about 6 p.m. They had a search warrant and arrested Yu, a news release from the Irvine Police Department noted. She was booked at Orange County Jail and released on August 5 on a $30,000 bond.

More details of this disturbing news from ‘Fox News’ report:

A California radiologist says he has video evidence of his wife, a dermatologist, spiking his drinks with dangerous household chemicals on multiple occasions – after he developed internal injuries and hid cameras in their kitchen.

Irvine police arrested 45-year-old dermatologist Dr. Yue Yu, who also goes by Emily, last week on suspicion of poisoning. She has not yet been formally charged, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.

Dr. Jack Chen, her 53-year-old husband, filed for an order of protection Friday.

“I am fearful of being in the same home and in the presence of respondent due to respondent’s recorded attempts to poison me with Drano,” Chen’s request for a domestic violence restraining order reads.

Chen put the cameras in place after becoming suspicious in March and April, after noticing “a chemical taste” in his lemonade and being diagnosed with ulcers, gastritis and esophagitis, according to the filing.

In one instance, he said, he covered his drink with plastic wrap – and she allegedly peeled it off, spiked the drink, and replaced the covering.

According to reports, Dr. Chen alleged his wife and mother-in-law have been abusing him for years. However, Dr. Yu denied the allegations through her attorney, David Wohl, in a statement to Fox News.

“Ms. Emily Yu vehemently and unequivocally denies ever attempting to poison her husband or anyone else. As a well-respected physician, her goal as always been to help people and never to harm people. Accordingly, she also strongly denies her husband’s claims of abusing him and their children emotionally and physically,” David Wohl said.
