Border Patrol Hits Jackpot in Raid on California Home Depot

Uncategorized

Border Patrol just did the job California refuses to do—again. This time, it happened in the parking lot of a Home Depot in south Sacramento, where 11 suspected illegal aliens were arrested on Thursday. Naturally, the professional outrage machine fired up faster than a leaf blower in aisle 7.

Among those arrested? Javier Dimas-Alcantara, a Mexican national whose rap sheet reads like a Breaking Bad spinoff gone wrong. Try 67 charges on for size—including drug dealing, burglary, illegal entry, carrying a loaded firearm, and multiple probation violations. But sure, Gavin Newsom and his band of sanctuary state cheerleaders would probably still hand this guy a voter registration form and a free bus pass.

According to Customs and Border Protection, Dimas-Alcantara has been a public menace for decades. This isn’t some poor migrant looking for work. This is a career criminal who’s allegedly sold narcotics, falsified ID, carried weapons in public, and made a personal hobby out of flipping off the law.

“You would not want this man to be your neighbor,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told Fox News. That’s an understatement. You wouldn’t want him in your neighborhood, your city, or your country—but in California? That’s just another “victim of the system,” according to the usual leftist narrative.

McLaughlin didn’t stop there: “He and every other sanctuary politician should be thanking CBP for getting this scum out of American communities.” And she’s right. But instead of thanks, the agents got protests. Because in modern California, catching a criminal is more controversial than harboring one.

Gregory Bovino, a U.S. Border Patrol sector chief, posted video of the raid and delivered the line that should be printed on billboards from Los Angeles to San Francisco: “No such thing as a sanctuary city, no such thing as a sanctuary state. We’re here, and we’re not going anywhere.”

And thank God for that.

Fox News was there to catch the chaos as people scattered like cockroaches under fluorescent light. There were foot chases, confusion, and at least one American citizen who allegedly slashed a federal agent’s tire and got himself maced and arrested for the trouble. You know, just your average Thursday in Gavin’s utopia.

But don’t worry—activists were quick to show up with signs and slogans opposing the arrests. Because when 67-time offenders are dragged off in handcuffs, the real problem, apparently, is law enforcement daring to enforce laws. Welcome to upside-down world, brought to you by the California state legislature.

Let’s take a step back. This wasn’t some secret ICE black site. It was a broad daylight bust of known criminals, in a place where agents have every right to operate. The only reason this is controversial is because the people arrested weren’t wearing ties or using legal channels. They were exploiting sanctuary policies that protect predators under the guise of compassion.

There’s nothing compassionate about allowing criminals to roam free in American communities. There’s nothing “progressive” about undermining the rule of law. And there’s certainly nothing moral about demonizing federal agents while glorifying repeat offenders.

The message from CBP was loud and clear: the border doesn’t end at the Rio Grande—it follows the crime. And if California politicians won’t clean house, Border Patrol will do it for them.

In a sane world, this raid would be applauded across party lines. Instead, we get pearl-clutching from people who think “sanctuary” means never having to face consequences. Let’s hope CBP keeps up the pressure—because someone has to.

And it sure isn’t going to be the guy slashing tires.
