Trey Gowdy is a busy guy. He only weighs in when it is absolute necessary. He chooses his words carefully. That is why he is so well respected by both sides in Washington DC.
So, while he refrained from comment over the last two days, with the increasing chaos cause by liberals he felt compelled to issue a statement to set the record straight.
Not one liberal – unless they are lying – will find fault with Trey’s words and hopefully they will take them to heart and end the nonsense sweeping out country.
Trey said “Our nation has a long and rich history of welcoming those fleeing persecution. We also have a long and rich history of liberating those suffering under oppression. We are the most welcoming and generous country in the world, and we are a country of immigrants.
The world we find ourselves in is dangerous and becoming increasingly so. Since national security and public safety are the preeminent functions of government, there is a fundamental duty to ensure the necessary background investigations can be done to stop anyone intent on doing harm from exploiting Americans’ generosity and taking more innocent lives.
American people deserve border and interior security. They deserve to know who is coming to our country, for what purpose, and for how long. They deserve to be assured those seeking entry into the country – regardless of the length of stay – have been vetted thoroughly and do not represent a security risk.
I am committed to doing everything we can to keep Americans safe just as I am committed to defending religious liberty and providing refuge to those fleeing persecution.”

While all very true and I love love love trey there has to be limit to the amount of out of country born people America can sustain just bc we have a long history of taking them in doesn’t mean we should! I mean look at all the videos of these very same countries in question that they vow to harm and take over American s? Look at the welfare system look at the mass people who work jobs at 40-60 hrs a week still never seeing any real pay increase due to taxes to support these ppl that some will go on. To work but a lot will not for instance are we to believe that these women coming from these countries will work and support their families put their kids in daycare etc.. ? Or are we to think that the men who are coming with Daniels in tow coming from a country such as the ones in question are coming here with ed and training to get and hold a job that can financially support their wives plural and upteen kids without bleeding our welfare system out? Are to pick the refuge of these people who are screaming out loud the will reproduce until they are the majority to take this White House and country over over our vets who have served to prevent this exact situation from happening are sleeping on the street eating out of trash cans !?!?!?!?!?
