Michael Savage left bloodied and shaken in public assault

US News

On the same day that Michael Savage launched his book, “Trump’s War: His Battle for America”, he was assaulted inside a California restaurant.

The top rated radio show host, Michael Savage, had just released his book where he examines the Trump administration and offers his insights and analysis. Savage knows the battle that Trump has ahead of him very well. He has been in this battle for 25 years as a radio show host on the conservative side.

Savage had been out with his dog, Teddy and was trying to finish up a peaceful dinner. When he was leaving an unnamed attacker confronted him. The suspect kicked Savage’s dog, and threw him down onto the ground.

Savage wasn’t seriously injured but the attack left him shaken and bleeding.

From WND:

In a statement to Lieberman, Savage said he was leaving the restaurant “when a total stranger followed me out of the restaurant and confronted me.”

The man said, “Are you Michael Weeeeener?” mocking the radio host’s legal name, Weiner.

Savage said: “I turned to him and said, ‘Go away, I don’t know who you are.’ I turned to leave and he pushed me and I fell down. He moved toward me to push me down and he shoved my 10-pound poodle out of the way to get to me.

How sad that we can’t just disagree anymore without it turning violent. Yes, sometimes violence is necessary but NEVER just for disagreeing with someone’s political or religious views.

We’re living in very dangerous times and anyone that speaks the truth will be attacked. I’m convinced it’s the battle between good and evil!
