He Brough All The Money He Had To School, The Reason Why Is Absolutely Heartbreaking….

Although teaching is probably one of the toughest jobs out there, it does come with many wonderful benefits. However, a huge salary isn’t exactly one of them. Each day, there’s a lot of work to be done. Educating children in one room with varying abilities and knowledge, along with being disciplinarians, too, means teachers pour their hearts and souls into the classroom every day.

But one Majical nine-year-old has taken this one-liner phrase “Pay It Forward” to heart with the sweetest gesture that will make your heart melt.

Parker Williams absolutely adores his third-grade teacher, Mrs. Chambers. The tow-headed little boy attends Gorrie Elementary in Tampa, Fla.

He used his birthday money to gift a “pay raise” to his teacher, saying that the decision came easy because she has “the most important job.”

Instead of going out to the store and buying his own body weight in candy, he generously gifted it to his teacher. To everyone else, it was an overwhelmingly kind gesture that’s seldom seen. To Parker, it was just another day. Taking his $15, he wrote a note to his teacher that read, “Dear Mrs. Chambers, I don’t think teachers get paid enough for what they do, so will you accept this as a gift?”

Talking to a local news station, Parker said that Mrs. Chambers is a “really kind teacher”, who “spends time on everybody.” It was only when Parker’s mom found the returned note in his backpack that she realized what was going on.

Mrs. Chambers politely declined the gift, writing, “I can’t accept this, but appreciate the gesture, Parker. Students like you are the reason I teach.” Jennifer Williams said she was so proud of her son that her eyes welled up as soon as she saw it.

It’s no secret that teachers deserve to be paid more. The average starting salary in the United States is nothing compared to the number of hours they put in. Parker knows it, and so does everyone else. The youngster wasn’t upset by his teacher’s unwillingness to take his $15 but pleased that he had made a difference.

“It made me feel really nice and good,” Parker said. “I think more people should be nice.”

In conclusion, we should all aim to be a little more like Parker.
