On Thursday, Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott issued an executive order instructing the Texas National Guard and Texas Department of Public Safety officers to capture illegal immigrants in the U.S. and “return them to the border at a port of entry,” his new executive order reads.
This is the first time the state has ever done something like this.
Thanks to Joe Biden’s open borders policies, putting the lives of Americans in danger and illegal immigrants as well.
In fact, what happened last week wherein 51 migrants were found dead in a truck in a human smuggling operation in San Antonio, Texas is just one of the many examples of what could happen under Joe Biden’s open border policies.
And thanks to Abbott for taking unprecedented action, Texas is finally taking this action to fight the invasion at our southern border.
Here’s what Abbott said in a statement:
“While President Biden refuses to do his job and enforce the immigration laws enacted by Congress, the State of Texas is once again stepping up and taking unprecedented action to protect Americans and secure our southern border.”
I issued an Executive Order authorizing the Texas National Guard & Texas Dept. of Public Safety to return illegal immigrants to the border.

More details of this report from The Texas Tribune:
Abbott’s executive order comes as a massive caravan largely comprised of military-aged males who left Tapachula, Mexico very early last Friday and is en route to the US border.
The US Supreme Court this week, with help from justices Roberts and Kavanaugh, overturned Trump’s ‘Remain in Mexico’ policy.
Here is the opinion from John Roberts in Biden v. Texas: https://t.co/zuSZpiDQP0. Roberts is joined by the three liberals + Kavanaugh. Thomas, Alito, Gorsuch, and Barrett dissent.

President Trump initiated a law that forced migrants crossing the US Southern border who claim they are seeking asylum to remain in Mexico until their cases were reviewed by US Courts.
That asylum policy has been overturned and the migrants are marching like soldiers to the US border.
