In a recent candid interview, an internet sensation bravely opens up about her bisexuality and struggles with an abusive childhood.
Demi Rose surprised her fans by discussing her sexuality and the trauma of her abusive upbringing. The 27-year-old model, who initially gained fame through her relationship with rapper Tyga, shared that she is open to dating both men and women during a question-and-answer session with Daily Mail.
When a fan inquired about her preference for boys, girls, or both, Demi responded, “I went through a phase of liking girls more than guys. Now I’m more into guys. It just depends.”
She also revealed that her ideal partner would be “inspiring, honest, well put together, a deep soul that’s open-minded, kind, ambitious and thoughtful,” among other qualities.
Demi has previously spoken about her abusive childhood, but in a recent online post, she clarified the nature of the abuse she faced. She described it as “parental abuse” that has significantly impacted her life.
In response to a fan’s question about her upbringing, Demi said:
“Growing up, it was very hard getting bullied in school, having parental abuse, and then at the age of 17 becoming a full-time carer for my mother who had a heart attack, which caused a stroke, and she became disabled, wheelchair-bound. She was disabled for seven years, and then both of my parents passed away four years ago. I get misjudged a lot but honestly, those who meet me say I’m the nicest, and that warms my heart. I’m grateful for all the bad because it made me who I am. I now have so much empathy for going through what I have.”
Demi also emphasized the importance of living one’s best life and experiencing emotions fully. She expressed her belief that everything happens for a reason and that her experiences can inspire and help others who have faced similar struggles.
Demi noted that she hadn’t opened up much about her challenges because she wanted to reach a stronger place first.
