CNN Anchor Arrested Following Hit And Run Accident

Felicia Taylor, a former CNN anchor, was recently detained in Palm Beach on suspicion of a hit-and-run. She was charged on July 28 after allegedly hitting another car, injuring the driver, and then evading the scene of the collision, according to Palm Beach Police.

The retired reporter apparently refuted the allegations, but the official reports stated that Taylor collided with another car while being pulled over. In the statement Page Six obtained:

It was, without a doubt,His vehicle was struck from behind by the white Mercedes. The impact caused [him] to strike the steering wheel, causing multiple complaints of injuries.”

The investigation states that Taylor was allegedly seen driving past the crash site twice without stopping as she left the event in her Mercedes “without administering aid or pausing to provide information.”

Taylor allegedly claimed that she did not stop at the scene of the collision because she did not realize “there was anything to be concerned about” and that she “wanted the injuries of the other driver to be proven.”

The former anchor wanted to return home and noted that the accident was “not a big deal,” But the officer who stopped her over shortly after the event. Taylor admitted to being involved in the collision and added that “the other motorist was ‘fine,'” the officer said.

“Prior to the crash, Taylor stated she was at a restaurant on Worth Avenue and then stated she was at a restaurant in the Royal Poinciana Plaza. We were unable to locate a restaurant that recalls Taylor as a guest,” The officer further added.

Additionally, she stated that she was coming from The Colony Hotel, but she made no comment when the staff informed her that the hotel was closed.

Taylor also made it clear that she wasn’t drinking and driving and that she wasn’t using any prescription medications. The policeman said he did not detect any alcohol on the former anchor.

Page Six added that the other car’s wounded driver was given medical attention on the scene for jaw, head, neck, and back pain. Felicia Taylor was confirmed to be unhurt while undergoing a medical examination.

The report states that Taylor was arrested at the Palm Beach County Jail and charged with reckless driving and fleeing the scene of an injury accident, however, She initially entered a not guilty plea to the charges and was later freed on a $3,000 bail.
