One thing that you have to know about people from Texas is that they are not the kind of people that will stand for being pushed around.
They are the type of people that are more than willing to stand up for their rights and hold them very sacred. That being said, if you try to mess with them or their rights they have no problem at all making sure you know not to do that ever again.
I am sure that the people of Texas are watching what is presently unfolding in the United States with great interest and wondering exactly what they are going to do when the time comes that they have to defend those rights.
Texas Rep. Kyle Biedermann joined Chris Salcedo on Newsmax TV on Monday. Kyle is leading an effort to save Texas from the Democrat Marxists who stole power in Washington DC in the 2020 election.
This is a good move by the Texas lawmakers before Democrats steal their state like they did the swing states in the 2020 election cycle.
“The federal government is out of control and does not represent the values of Texans. That is why I am committing to file legislation this session that will allow a referendum to give Texans a vote for the State of Texas to reassert its status as an independent nation,” Rep. Kyle Biedermann, R-Fredricksburg, said in a statement.
Biedermann said his bill will rely on Article 1 Section 2 of the Texas Constitution which reads: “All political power is inherent in the people, and all free governments are founded on their authority, and instituted for their benefit.”
Since Communism is against the US Constitution it may be difficult for a court to rule against the “Texit” exit.
Kyle told Chris Salcedo Texas lawmakers are getting calls from several states interested in joining their movement.
Groups, like the Texas Nationalist Movement have long supported efforts to secede, and the 87th Texas Legislature has seen hundreds of such motions presented to them in the past.
Texas has left the union once before. After becoming a state in 1845, the Lone Star State seceded from the United States and joined the Confederate States of America in 1861. After the Civil War and Reconstruction, Texas was fully readmitted into the Union in 1870.
