The Bushes have been mad at Donald Trump ever since Little Jebby Bush lost to him in the Primaries
President-Elect Donald Trump’s historic, unexpected victories in both the Republican Primaries and the Presidential Election of 2016 upset the establishment apple carts on both sides of the political aisle.
It was reported during the Election that George H.W. Bush would be voting for Democrat Hillary Clinton, and the views of George W. Bush and his wife Laura were never clear, even in the end.
Apparently, the Bush family was more upset over Trump’s alleged treatment of former Florida Governor Jeb Bush than they were over Bill Clinton’s defeat of then sitting President George H.W. Bush in the 1990’s. Many called them turncoats and hypocrites when the story was prominent in the news.
In a statement today, the former President’s staff stated that the Bushes are “pleased to be able to witness the peaceful transfer of power — a hallmark of American democracy — and swearing-in of President Trump and Vice President Pence.”

Perhaps the Bushes, and the entire Republican Establishment, should get on board with Trump’s ideas, as he is already making progress for Americans, even weeks before being inaugurated. Earlier today, we reported:
Perhaps, Establishment Republicans, like the Bushes, were a little more cozy with the Democrats than we ever knew. Could it be that they were all playing us, and enriching themselves in the process? The Bush Family seemed uncomfortable with the whole WikiLeaks phenomenon, even after it exposed Hillary and Bill Clinton time and time again. Were they afraid that more information would leak out that may place them in an unfavorable light?
Times have changed in DC, and by all appearances, they will continue to change.
The Bushes and the Republicans may as well join the Democrats in getting used to it.
